Local student dies in car accident
A University of Massachusetts journalism student was killed in a car accident early Sunday morning at the Royal Opera. Ashley Beth Softic, 20, Athol, MA, was a junior at UMass.
According to an article in the Greenfield-Recorder, Softic was on the way to the west Winchendon Royal Road in Ottawa, as their car crossed into traffic on the track towards the East, went by the Guard on track and vice-versa before taking a pause in their roof.
Softic was thrown into the death scene, after ejected from the car during the crash. The accident is still under study Roylaston with police.
